Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team in Milwaukie. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s online identity and connecting with customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies that align with Amazon’s overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Create and curate engaging content tailored to various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor, analyze and report on engagement metrics, audience growth, and overall social media performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify brand messaging and create cohesive campaigns.
- Engage with our audience by responding to inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis, suggesting adjustments to enhance social media effectiveness.
- Manage partnerships with influencers and other brands to amplify Amazon’s message and extend reach.
- Conduct social media audits and optimize profiles to ensure brand consistency.
- Implement and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, monitoring ROI and adjusting strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and community building.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
